The University of South Florida notched their fourth-straight win Sunday, routing American Athletic Conference rival Houston 55-35. The Bulls’ streak started following a surprising 67-51 loss at UCF that knocked the Bulls out of the AP Top 25 rankings.
USF improved to 16-5 overall and 6-1 in the AAC, good enough to tie UCF for first place in the standings.
In the win at Houston, Elena Tsineke, Dulcy Fankam Mendjiadeu and Maria Alvarez all scored a game-high 11 points in the win, while Bethy Mununga added eight points and 18 rebounds.
The Bulls host Tulane on Sunday at noon.
