Tampa Bay Lightning in good shape at the break

by The 100 Companies

Despite injuries that sidelined stars Brayden Point and Nikita Kucherov for long stretches, the Tampa Bay Lightning reached the NHL’s All-Star break in a solid position in the standings.

They are second in their division to the Florida Panthers and, barring a cataclysmic collapse in the final 36 games of the regular season, they should be a shoo-in to make the playoffs as a highly seeded team.

Meanwhile, Victor Hedman, Andre Vasilevskiy and Steven Stamkos will represent the team in Saturday’s NHL All-Star Game in Las Vegas. The team returns to action Feb. 10 against the Colorado Avalanche in Denver.
