With their 2-1 victory at Las Vegas, the Tampa Bay Rowdies held on to the regular-season USL championship and secured home field advantage throughout the playoffs.

Tampa Bay opens the playoffs Saturday at Al Lang Stadium starting at 7:30 p.m. against Tulsa. Tulsa finished fourth in the Central Division.

“For me, this was a big thing,” Rowdies Head Coach Neill Collins said. “Coming from Europe, where being top of the regular season standings is so important, I think this is an important moment in getting the club to where we want to be. We want to be number one.”
