Two Bucs players test positive for COVID-19, may sit out Sunday

by The 100 Companies

The Bucs could be without two key players when they travel to Los Angeles to play the Rams Sunday.

Receiver Antonio Brown and linebacker/special teams captain Kevin Minter tested positive for COVID-19. Like all Bucs players, both were fully vaccinated.

If they remain asymptomatic and have two negative tests 24 hours apart, they could be cleared to play.

Practice squad receiver practice Travis Jonsen also tested positive.

Also, safety Mike Edwards was named the NFC Defensive Player of the Week. He became the first player since 1992 to return two interceptions for touchdowns in the fourth quarter of a game.
