The USF Bulls got a much-needed dose of relief Saturday when they defeated FAMU 38-17 at Raymond James Stadium. That win broke a 10-game losing streak for the Bulls, dating back to last season.
Freshman Timmy McClain made the most of his first career start at quarterback. He led USF on five scoring drives and finished with 12 pass completions in 23 attempts for 163 yards and a touchdown. He also ran for 51 yards.
Running back Jaren Mangham scored three rushing touchdowns, the most for a USF player in a game since Johnny Ford recorded three vs. UConn in 2018.
