Tampa’s Brooks Bak was one of 64 members of the National Football Foundation and College Hall of Fame 2021 NFF Team of Distinction.
He was a linebacker and running back at Plant High School. Bak was the 2021 Hillsborough County Male Scholar-Athlete of the Year.
He also was the team captain for football and baseball and a four-year letterman. Bak had a 6.62 GPA and now attends Cornell University, where he is listed as a long-snapper on the football team.
The honorees will be part of a permanent display at the Chick-fil-A College Football Hall of Fame in Atlanta, Georgia.
