Rays in No. 2 at All Star break

by The 100 Companies

The Tampa Bay Rays are in second place in the American League East at the All-Star break, just 1.5 games behind front-runners the Boston Red Sox.

The Rays have the third-best record in the AL and lead the wild card race by two games. That despite losing ace Tyler Glasnow to an arm injury a month ago.

Rays Manager Kevin Cash will manage the AL all stars in the game at Denver’s Coors Field. Joining him on the roster are Rays catcher Mike Zunino and infielder Joey Wendle. The Rays resume the regular season Friday in Atlanta.
