After years of being pigeonholed as a place predominately known for offices and hotels, the Rocky Point area of Tampa is experiencing a boom in new luxury waterfront apartments.
Multifamily developers are starting to look at areas outside Tampa’s urban core for sites that combine accessibility with water views that appeal to those renters who desire high-quality locations and amenities.
Luxury apartments like the recently completed Seazen and the proposed 180-unit apartment building near the Westin hotel fit the bill. People who rent the units are often professionals who want access to downtown Tampa, Westshore and the airport.
