Suncoast Tiger Bay to host annual State of the Bay with local mayors

Suncoast Tiger Bay will host mayors from the Tampa Bay area’s largest cities this month for its annual State of the Bay highlighting progress and opportunities throughout the region.

Tampa Mayor Jane Castor, St. Petersburg Mayor Ken Welch and Clearwater Mayor Bruce Rector will field questions Jan. 27 at The James Museum in downtown St. Pete. Rather than the traditional luncheon, this special event will be a dinner, held at 5:30 p.m.

Expect topics to include the future home of the Tampa Bay Rays, Clearwater’s ongoing downtown development and term-limited Castor’s plans for her final two years in office.
