Gov. Ron DeSantis has tapped Cory Chandler to serve as judge on the Hillsborough County Court.
Chandler has worked as an attorney at Spector Gadon Rosen Vinci since 2008. He previously owned the Chandler Law Firm and has prior experience working as an assistant state attorney in the 13th Judicial Circuit.
Chandler earned his undergraduate degree from Florida State University and his law degree from South Texas College. He fills the vacancy that was created by the elevation of Judge Cynthia Oster.
The county court handles misdemeanor criminal matters, municipal and county violations, landlord/tenant disputes, monetary disputes, traffic offenses and more.
