Judge Wesley Tibbals to launch re-election campaign June 9

Hillsborough County Circuit Court Judge Wesley Tibbals will launch his re-election campaign with an event in Ybor City June 9 at the Cuban Club.

Tibbals was appointed as Circuit Court Judge in 2015. He has presided over family and civil dockets, as well as criminal, delinquency and dependency court matters in first appearance court. In 2017 and 2018, Tibbals was temporarily appointed to serve as an Associate Judge on the Second District Court of Appeal. In 2017, the Chief Judge appointed Judge Tibbals as the Associate Administrative Judge in Hillsborough’s Family Law Division.

Tibbals will be on the August 23 ballot.
