Tampa Bay Winner and Loser of the week

WINNER: The Tampa Museum of Art. The museum announced a $68 million expansion, offering a major enhancement to the city’s bustling downtown scene. It will add a four-story glass structure to the waterfront, along with nearly 51,000 square-feet of new education and event spaces. That’s in addition to the ongoing 25,000 square-foot renovation.

LOSER: Sean Hynes. He’s the St. Pete resident who made a $100 bet with a (former) friend in Georgia that Donald Trump would win last year’s election. That didn’t happen, but Hynes didn’t pay. The friend sued and now Hynes could face fines and even jail time.
