Congressman Charlie Crist and state Sen. Annette Taddeo will also be speaking at the Hillsborough County Democratic Party’s annual fundraising event on Dec. 11, following the news that Agriculture Commissioner Nikki Fried and U.S. Rep. Val Demings would be speaking.
Crist, Taddeo and Fried are each running for the Governor’s seat in 2022 on the Democratic ticket, while Demings is challenging Sen. Marco Rubio.
The fundraiser, known as the Kennedy-King Gala, will be held at the Tampa Convention Center. It is the local party’s largest fundraiser of the year, with tickets starting at $125 and ranging up to $25,000.
