Increasing Visibility on Halloween

by

With Halloween right around the corner, it’s important to remember that more children will be out and about at fall festivals and trick-or-treating events leading up to the big night.

Drivers should use extra caution as October is one of the deadliest months for motor vehicle accidents due to limited visibility at dusk, a popular time for events.

Help keep kids safe by sticking reflective tape on costumes and giving kids flashlights or glow sticks to make them more visible. Organized gatherings like trunk-or-treat events or parties at home can also keep kids away from roads.
