Summer Camp for Low-Income Youth

by

The University Area CDC (UACDC) works to improve Tampa’s university area through free and affordable community programs for local residents. This includes youth art classes, summer camps, youth sports leagues, job training, affordable housing and self-sufficiency.

This Give Day, UACDC has a goal to raise $5,000 for its DreamCatchers Summer Camp, which provides fun and educational activities for children from low-income families. The camp serves more than 240 youth each year and offers swim classes, sports, arts and crafts, music, dance and field trips.

A private donor has agreed to match a portion of Give Day donations.
