Most people know to keep chocolate away from their dogs, but there are many other items that can harm your pets:
– Grapes and raisins can cause kidney issues in dogs and cats.
– Onions and garlic are harmful to cats, even in small quantities.
– Dogs and cats both have trouble digesting dairy, so they should not be given milk.
In general, it’s best to only feed your dog or cat pet food. Avoid giving them table scraps and don’t let them eat things you’ve dropped on the floor. If you think your pet may have eaten something hazardous, call your veterinarian.
