The Cross-Bay Ferry started carrying people between downtown St. Petersburg and Tampa on a twin-hull catamaran this month.
The popular ferry offers indoor and outdoor seating, bike racks and tables that can be just as useful for games and entertainment as for workers getting a head start on the workday. While it’s an attractive option for commuters, it’s becoming an entertainment venue in its own right with Wi-Fi, drinks, snacks and beer/wine available during the 50-minute trip.
Tickets are $10 each way, but you can ride for free on the third Sunday of each month.
