Care for your cat’s health, too

by

Like dogs, cats need regular vet visits. It’s important for your veterinarian to monitor your cat’s health and take preventative measures.

During visits, veterinarians will:

– Administer vaccines that complement your cat’s lifestyle.

– Give heartworm preventatives. Any cat, even an indoor cat, can get bitten by a mosquito and catch heartworm disease.

– Monitor weight changes. Weight gain can put stress on your cat’s internal organs and lead to diabetes.

As cats get older, they are more vulnerable to disease. Regular vet visits will allow your vet to continuously monitor your cat for changes in its health, and diagnose potential health issues.
