A Simpler Place Farm and Market

In Riverview, there’s a suburban farmette (a residential farm) that’s helping to bring organic and sustainable food to Tampa Bay.

A Simpler Place Farm & Market helps people in the the community compost their food and with that, grows around 40 crops of vegetables, flowers and herbs. The farmette also houses several bee hives to produce honey. All the produce and honey can be purchased in the market’s on-site farm store.

A Simpler Place Farm & Market, 9903 Carr Rd. in Riverview, received $1,000 in seed money from Working Women of Tampa Bay after winning the 2019 Women’s Pitch Competition.
