Kids book tells Stonewall story

Stonewall: A Building. An Uprising. A Revolution.

Local author and teacher Rob Sanders has written a children’s book about the 1969 Stonewall riots in New York City. It tells about police raiding a gay club and six days of protests and riots that followed. This led to to overturning regulations that penalized bars for serving suspected gay patrons.
