During the summer, about 10 cats are surrendered to SPCA Tampa Bay each day. With so many cats entering the shelter, there’s a significant need to find homes for them.
Cats are great companions for many families, including families with demanding work or school schedules, as they don’t need daily walks like dogs. Plus, they are comfortable in all sorts of homes, including apartments or condos.
There’s a wide variety of cats, and picking the right cat might seem tough. Luckily, SPCA Tampa Bay has staff and volunteers who help families find the right match with their purr-fect pet.
