The Summer of Rum Festival is back and bigger than ever. The event moves this year from an empty lot in Channelside to downtown Tampa’s Curtis Hixon Park, allowing more room for “rum shack” ordering areas and cool-down zones with fans.

The Rum Festival, set for Saturday, Sept. 2 from noon to 11 p.m., will feature tropical music from Shaggy, Baha Men, and other musical artists.

Festivalgoers will be able to enjoy an array of rum drinks, made to order at the event’s “rum shacks.”

Tickets range from $18 for early general admission to $125 for VIP tickets.
