The first TEDxOldsmar is focusing on time: busyness and social change. The independently organized event, licensed by TED, is one of five locations in Florida showing a livestream of the sold-out TEDxWomen 2016 conference in San Francisco.
Two of the TEDxWomen sessions, “It’s My Time” and “It’s About Time,” will be shown at TEDxOldsmarWomen on Thursday, Oct. 27. The first session of TED Talks challenges timesaving technologies, while the second session focuses on long-term solutions to issues like climate change, poverty, immigration, violence, race, gender and economic inequities.
TEDxOldsmarWomen is free to attend, but advance registration is required.
