St. Petersburg’s Swah-rey (pronounced soiree) dessert bar takes the cake for pumpkin-flavored desserts that are so much more inventive than traditional pumpkin pie.
Swah-rey’s bakery and upcoming storefront on Central Avenue regularly feature more than a dozen desserts that can be paired with wine, beer or coffee. Its pumpkin spice cupcake is light and fluffy, made with a pumpkin puree cake base and perfectly topped with buttercream seasoned with traditional pumpkin spices: cinnamon, nutmeg and clove.
