St. Pete Brewing Company makes a lightly spiced ale called “Drop Dead Gourdeous.” This one uses real pumpkin, which, ironically, is a rarity among pumpkin-flavored brews.
On the other side of the bay, Tampa Bay Brewing Company’s “Gourds Gone Wild” is a sweet delight, while Coppertail’s Oktoberfest is one of the best of its kind.
