Knowing which wines to pair with your holiday meal can be tricky. The experts at Florida Wine Company and St. Petersburg’s A Taste for Wine say even red wine drinkers may enjoy light to medium-bodied white wines because they won’t clash with the richness of food.
Pair ham, chicken, fish and salad with Rosè; Cava, a Spanish sparkling wine; or Verdejo, a Spanish version of Sauvignon Blanc. For duck, pork and seafood, they suggest Pineau d’Aunis, a light red French wine.
For day drinking, try Elvio Tintero Grangia Rosè because of its low alcohol content and touch of Moscato.
