New York Times best-selling author and Tampa Bay resident Michael Connelly will be honored at the TBBCA 2019 Impact Awards on Thursday, Oct. 10.
Connelly has written more than 30 novels, and his books have inspired Amazon’s popular original drama series “Bosch,” on which he serves as executive producer.
Connelly served as the first Literary Arts judge for TBBCA’s Art Stars Scholarship program, which provides financial support for higher education in the arts. He became involved with the scholarships more than 10 years ago as part of his close friendship with the late Charlie Hounchell, who championed the scholarships.
