Lorna Taylor, president and CEO of Premier Eye Care, will be honored as Patron of Culture & the Arts by Tampa Bay Businesses for Culture & the Arts.
Taylor, who will be recognized at the Oct. 10 Impact Awards, supports several Tampa Bay arts organizations, including the Dali Museum, Florida Museum of Photographic Arts, Dr. Carter G. Woodson African American Museum and Arts Conservatory for Teens.
TBBCA bestowed a 30th Anniversary Art Stars Scholarship for higher education in Taylor’s honor. The scholarship was presented to William Clifford, a piano prodigy at Shorecrest Preparatory School. It’s fitting: Taylor trained as a classical pianist.
