Check out new-to-us artworks in the “Recent Acquisitions: Paintings, Ceramics, and Works on Paper” exhibition at the Museum of Fine Arts, St. Petersburg. The exhibition highlights 32 new gifts of art to the MFA.

Among the works featured is Pablo Picasso’s “Le Taureau (le boeuf),” 1936, etched from a copper plate, and a vibrant, abstract painting by William Pachner, who divided his time between Tampa Bay and Woodstock, New York.

The exhibition, featuring artworks ranging from the ancient world to the present, includes prints, paintings, photographs, drawings, new media, decorative arts, and sculpture. It’s on display through December.
