The ArtsXchange in St. Petersburg’s Warehouse Arts District plans to expand into performance art with the addition of a professional dance studio.

Fundraising is underway to rehabilitate a 2,400-square-foot facility with a springboard floor, ballet bars and mirrors for dance classes, yoga and Pilates. The space will also have three classrooms for things like art classes, community and civic meetings, and private events.

This is the second phase of a project the Warehouse Arts District Association began in 2014 when it converted 16,000 square feet of warehouse space into 29 art studios, gallery and classroom space.
