TBBCA to honor renowned Tampa artist

Renowned Tampa artist Mernet Larsen educated, influenced and inspired a generation of artists for more than 35 years as a professor at USF in Tampa.

Now in her mid-70s, Larsen stands at the center of global critical acclaim as one of the most impactful artists of our time. Her artwork is included in the collections of museums such as the Tampa Museum of Art, Los Angeles County Museum of Art and Whitney Museum of American Art in New York.

TBBCA will honor Larsen at its 2018 Impact Awards on Oct. 18 at Armature Works. Sponsorship information is available online.
