September is Hunger Awareness Month, and museums in St. Petersburg are joining together to support the St. Petersburg Free Clinic during the St. Petersburg Festival of the Arts.
SPF ‘17 hosts dozens of art shows, plays and live musical performances over three weekends in September, culminating in the Arts Alive! Free Museum Day on Sept. 23.
Five museums, including the Museum of Fine Arts and the St. Petersburg Museum of History, and seven other venues, such as The Chihuly Collection, are among the participants. Patrons can support the cause by donating a nonperishable or canned food item at participating locations.
