Those looking to spend Christmas with friends & family fare well in Florida

Florida is among the top states where residents have plenty of friends, family and loved ones with whom to share Christmas festivities.

Florida was ranked 42nd in the country in terms of solo living, with less than 14% of the Sunshine State’s population living alone. The wellness firm concluded that Floridians are less likely to be lonely on Christmas than most other states.

Texas was the only other state in the South with a smaller share of people living alone than Florida, at No. 45.

North Dakota had the highest share of its population living alone, followed by neighboring South Dakota.
