From ziplining to gardening, June keeps kids busy

There’ll be no moping at home with these activities for kids:

Empower Adventure Summer Camp for children ages 7-12 includes ziplining, rappelling, paddleboarding and campfire building, plus survivor techniques. Additionally, team-building games help build confidence while making new friends. No screens allowed as kids explore the great outdoors; the first sessions runs June 9-13 and the second runs June 23-27.

A more laid-back option, The Tampa Garden Club runs Kids in the Garden Summer Camp, teaching children to support the environment through nature-focused activities like growing herbs and cooking fresh food. Yoga and mindfulness exercises also foster self-awareness and goal-setting.
