Rome in just 2 days

If you’re like me and your New Year’s resolution is to travel more, consider a trek over the pond.

My sisters and I did a mini Eurotrip in September that included two days in Rome. It’s impossible to see everything in such a short time, but my two-day attempt included:

Day 1: A walk or metro ride to Vatican City where St. Peter’s Basilica is a must. Enjoy lunch, then visit the Trevi Fountain and Spanish Steps.

Day 2: The Colosseum, Palatine Hill and Roman Forum, which are located close together. Buy tickets ahead of time to skip lines.
