TGH Cancer Institute’s Lung Cancer Screening Program nationally recognized as a ‘Center of Excellence’

The Tampa General Hospital Cancer Institute’s Lung Cancer Screening Program has achieved designation as a Center of Excellence (COE) from GO2 for Lung Cancer.

GO2 was founded by cancer patients and survivors dedicated to increasing the survival rate for those at risk of developing lung cancer. The COE designation demonstrates Tampa General’s commitment to upholding rigorous standards and implementing best practices in lung cancer screening and treatment.

Tampa General joins a network of prestigious cancer screening programs across the country. The designation is just another example of the academic health system’s dedication to world-class care rooted in research and innovation.
