Tampa’s new Spanish hot spot

by
Spanish restaurant

A varied menu and vibrant atmosphere at Mole y Abuela make this new restaurant a must-try spot in Tampa’s North Franklin Historic District. On a recent Friday night, the restaurant and rooftop bar were still humming past midnight.

Top Chef “fan favorite” Fabio Viviani adds his culinary talent and status to the Spanish eatery, which is a sister restaurant to Franklin Manor and Osteria. Favorites included seared scallops, meatballs made with lamb and cojita cheese, and the Pomegranate Spritz with Bombay gin and lemon juice.

It’s hip and rustic in Fly Bar’s former location at 1202 N. Franklin St.
