Argentine restaurant expands to St. Pete

Argentinian food

The Argentine asado is a centuries-old South American gathering centered around grilling every part of a cow over a fire pit in the ground. A more refined version is now offered at Renzo’s.

Grilled beef cuts include skirt steak, top sirloin and short ribs, and the menu offers even more meat options with seafood, chicken and pork. The cachapas con queso is a must-try side dish. It’s like cornbread stuffed with melted cheese.

The South Tampa favorite recently opened at 104 Second St. S. in downtown St. Pete. Renzo’s also has a location near Carrollwood Village in Tampa.
