The Valspar Championship has a long history of paying Tampa Bay forward. The annual PGA TOUR golf tournament has raised more than $45 million for local charities — a special thank you to the community for hosting their event each year. While operating under various names since 1977, the Valspar Championship’s driving force has always been Copperhead Charities.

More commonly known as “The Copperheads,” a volunteer board of Tampa Bay community and business leaders spearhead the nonprofit’s local outreach, like their Birdies for Tampa Bay Charities program and 2021’s “Back To Bright” mural.

More than 40 years of uplifting Tampa Bay spirits with their service.
