Free back-to-school fair

Summer feels like it just started, but school is right around the corner. Junior League of St. Petersburg is helping families prepare for it with a no-cost Back to School Care Fair.

Children kindergarten through 12th grade can receive complimentary backpacks, school supplies, immunizations, school physicals and medical screenings. Kids can also participate in hands-on activities from Great Explorations Children’s Museum’s STEAM team, see wildlife from Boyd Hill Nature Preserve and explore fire trucks.

The fair takes place Saturday, July 27, 8 a.m.- noon, at Johnnie Ruth Clarke center, 1344 22nd St. S in St. Petersburg.
