$25Help us celebrate Irish 31’s 10 Year Anniversary by joining us for a ‘Cheers to 10 Years’ 5K Fun Run benefiting the iCare Foundation and organized by their Irish 3.1 Run Club!
What is the iCare Foundation?
The iCare Foundation is Irish 31’s non-profit organization whose primary initiative is the Cheers to PUBlic Service program; a program that recognizes, celebrates and rewards Hillsborough and Pasco County educators for the extraordinary impact they have on our youth, and our communities as a whole. 100% of proceeds from this 5K Fun Run will benefit the iCare Foundation and go towards funding the 2022 Cheers to PUBlic Service awards!
Cheers to 10 Years 5K Fun Run Details:
This fun run will be what they call a Prediction Run, which means it’s not the first one across the finish line that wins (not necessarily, at least), it’s the male and female runner that come closest to the predected finish time that they wrote down at the beginning of the race!
NO WATCHES, PHONES OR TIMING DEVICES PERMITTED DURING THE RACE DUE TO THE PRDICTION RACE FORMAT.
When participants check in for the Fun Run, they will be asked to predict their finish time, and then, using the provided race time clock, they will log their actual time when they complete the race. Closest to what they predicted will win! This will allow walkers to walk, runners to run, and all participants the chance to win a prize – We’ll CHEERS to that!!
WHAT ARE THE PRIZES?
1st Place Male & Female Runners (based on closest to prediction time, not place they finished) – $200 Dick’s Sporting Goods Gift Card + $100 Irish 31 Gift Card + Lululemon Shopping Experience (valued at approx. $100)
1st Place Male & Female Runners that are also Current Irish 3.1 Run Club Members (based on actual place they finished) – Comp Registration for Ragnar Trail at Alafia Park on Dec 3rd & 4th + Free Pair of Saucony Sneakers from Feet First!
POST-RACE PARTY AT IRISH 31!
After the race, stick around, because Irish 31 Hyde Park has plenty more festivities planned! All runners will enjoy a complimentary cocktail from Tito’s Handmade Vodka, the Tito’s girls will be on-site with giveaways and Tito’s swag, Irish 31 will be doing giveaways to celebrate their ten year anniversary, and there will be a Bucs Watch Party in the afternoon with drink specials and a Ticket Giveaway for tickets to cheer on the Bucs from the Miller Lite Party Deck! After party is free to all guests and sweaty runners are always welcome! CHEERS!
