Hillsborough County works to build stronger schools

by The 100 Companies

On Aug. 23, Hillsborough County voters will have the opportunity to strengthen our schools and community by deciding to increase the ad valorem by one mil.

The one mil will allow Hillsborough County Public Schools to expand the art, music and physical education programs, increase salaries to retain and recruit teachers and staff, and strengthen the workforce development and workforce education programs.

An additional one mil will cost the average homeowner about $18.75 each month. Every dollar of the ad valorem stays in our community, for our children and our schools. Get out and vote.
