3 tips for visiting Yellowstone

by

A recent road trip from Denver to Yellowstone National Park was one of my favorite vacations. Three tips to make the most of it:

– See Old Faithful and the lesser-known geysers in the Upper Geyser Basin, and walk next to boiling pools of groundwater. Stop in Old Faithful Inn while waiting on the namesake geyser.

– Explore the Grand Canyon of Yellowstone. The trail below the Lower Falls Lookout Point offers a better (and less crowded) view of the park’s tallest waterfall.

– Rent a camper-van, which fits in tent-sized campground sites and maneuvers well in busy parking lots.
