In November, Florida residents will have the chance to vote on 13 constitutional amendments – eight proposed by the Constitution Revision Commission.
Following a year of public hearings and committee meetings, the 37-member commission submitted a list of recommended revisions to the Secretary of State – ranging from victims’ rights and greyhound racing, to school board term limits and indoor vaping.
The eight proposals will appear on the ballot following five measures previously approved by the legislature or voter petition. Amendments require 60 percent approval to become law. Read up on the proposed amendments and be prepared for a lengthy ballot.
