A comprehensive approach to end homelessness

by
HEP family

The way the Homeless Empowerment Program (HEP) sees it, there needs to be a comprehensive approach to fighting homelessness. That’s why the Clearwater-based nonprofit is more than just a soup kitchen or shelter. In addition to providing meals and a place to sleep, HEP provides such support as job training, childcare, mental health counseling and medical care.

And the program is making a significant impact in the community: Last year, the organization helped 1,204 homeless individuals, including 127 children and 504 military veterans.

Give Day funds will help HEP provide assistance to more people who are battling homelessness.
