Deloitte Device Day returned to the Florida Capitol this week, highlighting the firm’s broader commitment to supporting the state’s veteran community.
Deloitte professionals joined lawmakers and community members to donate gently-used phones and tablets for veterans and military members through the annual event, hosted with Cell Phones for Soldiers and the Florida Department of Veterans’ Affairs.
Donated devices are refurbished or recycled to fund free phones and talk time for service members and veterans. Device Day is one example of Deloitte’s ongoing support for veterans statewide, which also includes hiring initiatives, mentorship programs and its Veteran, Military, Spouse & Allies network.
