Tampa Electric (TECO) lineworkers were recently honored by Dade City with a proclamation recognizing their outstanding service following Hurricane Milton.
The storm caused widespread damage across the region. TECO crews responded swiftly, working 16-hour shifts, to restore power and rebuild infrastructure.
“It’s an honor to have several representatives from Tampa Electric here with us as we thank them for their service to the city of Dade City following the storms and all the services they’ve provided for us throughout the years,” Mayor Scott Black said. “This is a proclamation of appreciation honoring the lineworkers for their service after Hurricane Milton.”
