The Senate Committee on Health Policy recently hosted two panel discussions, both with experts from Tampa General Hospital, to learn about the benefits of home health care.
TGH Vice President of Healthcare Design Dr. Peter Chang and Medical Director of Transitions of Care for Emergency Medicine Dr. Jason Wilson shared insights.
“TGH at Home is the intersection of high technology and personalized care,” Chang said. “We’re able to treat patients in the comfort of their own homes, while creating efficiencies, lowering costs and improving patient outcomes.”
The information will be used to inform policy decisions in this year’s Legislative Session.
