Hillsborough County hosts food drive for Hurricane Ian survivors

by The 100 Companies

Hillsborough County is holding a food drive to benefit those affected by Hurricane Ian.
Residents can drop off nonperishable, non-expired food items throughout the week as collections continue to help support families in need.

Donations can be dropped off at Hillsborough County libraries and community resource centers. A donation drop-off box is also located in the lobby of the Hillsborough County Center.

Hurricane Ian made landfall last week near Fort Myers at near-Category 5 strength, becoming the fifth-most powerful hurricane to hit the U.S. and bringing with it torrential rain, tornadoes and massive storm surges that caused extreme flooding.
