The City of St. Petersburg has announced a reorganization of two leadership positions.
Brian Caper, the city’s former economic development manager for the City Development Administration, has been promoted to director of economic and workforce development. He previously oversaw the Historic Gas Plant redevelopment process, the CBA program and the City’s public-private development efforts.
Celeste Davis was also hired as Director of Arts, Culture and Tourism. Davis has more than 20 years of experience in arts-related positions, most recently as the executive director for Tampa Bay Businesses for Culture and the Arts.
Caper assumed his role Monday, Davis starts Sept. 19.
